Since then, the business has continued to serve the agricultural community and today, under the management of John Bugler (Managing Director) he has 4 branches, employing 50 people.

Francis Bugler Limited was appointed as a Ford Tractor Main Dealer and later became the New Holland dealer for West Dorset, East Devon and South Somerset.

In 1997 the company acquired “John Jeffery Agricultural Engineering” in Axminster. Due to the success of this depot we have now relocated to a new purpose built premises on the western outskirts of the town at Kilmington.

Late 1999 saw the formation of “Marston Tractors” at Marston Magna, near Yeovil, Somerset, which later became “Buglers of Marston”.

More recently, on 1st November 2018, the Grand Opening of “Botany Bay depot”, DT11 9EY – Blandford area, was launched and warmly received.  Which means that Buglers now cover Dorset as a whole.

Over the last 20 years the company has received the prestigious New Holland “Mark of Excellence” awarded to leading New Holland dealers in the UK and in 2011 we became “UK Agricultural Dealer of The Year” this was a wonderful accolade as the award was for all UK dealers & of all makes of tractor!  We were also delighted to win New Holland Dealer of The Year 2012.

More recently, we were extremely proud to have been awarded New Holland Dealer of The Year 2019.

September 2008 finally saw Buglers relocate from its original town site to a new much larger purpose build site on the outskirts of the town.

In addition to New Holland, Buglers holds several other leading franchises for agricultural, horticultural, ground-care and ATV off road equipment including Kuhn, Joskin, Schuitemaker, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki.

The Joskin import & distribution agency is also a major part of our business and we have been the largest UK Joskin dealer since 2007.

ATV and Utility vehicles are important business to us, supplying farms, equestrian, woodland and many other businesses and private users.

The company’s policy is to offer market leading products at competitive prices, supported by excellent parts back up and after sales service.

Extensive stocks of spare parts and fully trained service engineers ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is attained.

In addition to the sale of new products the company also specialises in used tractor and machinery sales and hire.

We also produce & hold the one of the largest stocks of nearly new, New Holland tractors in the South West of England, by offering contract hire to local core clients.
